Really recommend a visit to this small, beautifully maintained place of Chinese worship since the 1860's. Excellent knowledgeable guide (thanks Mikelle). Take the Talking Tram from Bendigo city (brief and enjoyable ride) to gain a better understanding of early and current Chinese life and culture. Bob. 1 March 2017.

A spiritual and historical site, being the 2nd oldest Chinese temple still in existence. Don't expect grandiosity. What it lacks in size is more than made up in spirituality. It is said that many prayers based here are granted...

Probably the best guide I've ever come across. Very knowledgeably & friendly. Well worth a visit if nearby.
